Among landmarks of Jersey Shore that burned to ashes in massive blaze extending from Seaside Heights to Seaside Park were four Kohr’s Frozen Custard stands; perhaps none of businesses affected by fire can claim longevity and fame of Kohr's, which opened its first Seaside Heights store in early 1920s and whose iconic blue logo graces as many as a dozen frozen custard stands up and down the shore.
